EXTREME PAIN WITH TOOTH IMPLANTS?

I had 4 teeth in the front done and it is extremely painful…i can’t seem to get the inflammation gone out of the gums…it has been two weeks and it hurts just as much as the day they did them…the dentist looked at them and then put me on methylpred which seemed to help but now i am all out of prescription and it hurts so much…any recommendations to what to do I was on Tylenol 3 when i came home and that only worked for an hour and a half…I have been taking so much Tylenol and Advil and Oragel and Cloreseptic sprays etc I have taken so much it is making me sick. And I have tried heat and cold packs nothing seems to work. Any other recommendations of what I could try till I can speak to the dentist again tomorrow

i dont want to be in pain and have to go to er if they give me no medications because im going to dental school for implants and when i got my teeth they didnt give me nothing but when i was in school they were trying to retretat and one of doc prescribed me vicodin everytime i went in for work but its in different part of school and do they hurt kind of nervous

I have a back tooth with a visible cavity in it and I have lagged to go to the dentist because I did not have insurance.I have an appointment on 3/26 tho because we finally got insuance It hurt randomly pretty bad but would feel superior with two tylenol…so this day the tooth above it on top starts to hurt and I go brush and listerine (sometimes that helps) and all of a sudden my whole left side tight up to the front left tooth hurst worse than ever and has this cold kind of pullin gout feeling…radiating throbbing..earache…AWFUL PAIN….I took 2 aleve…still terrible…I just took one of my husbands vicodin its so bad…and I NEVER take vicodin…It been 10 minutes only so no change,,,,,should I go ti ER, or try to reschedule for monday, or just wait till the 26th still…..Thanks
Always my medical issues happen on a weekend….
It has been 22 minutes since I took the vicodin, and whil the pain is not extreme, it is still there, anbd i feel the weird cold throbbing pulling sensation even more now that there is less pain….the pain is bad….but that cold sensation really feels indescribably icky…
I have heard people take vicodin for fun….WHY??? it is not fun as far as i can tell

The Oral Surgeons I saw said it is to close to the nerve. They are afraid to remove
it as it could cause more nerve damage. Has anyone ever had this situation? It
is integrated into the bone. Pain meds like Perccocet & Viccodin are not helping.There is also pain around the gum tissue surrounding the implant as well as 2 adjacent teeth.

Dental Emergency, Severe Pain Please Help!?
Ok, I have a tooth that had a cavity. The cavity ate through the tooth & there’s just a small piece left that’s actually loose, so the nerves are exposed, it hurts, etc.
It used to just mildly irritate me on occasion, then a couple weeks ago, it began to hurt more frequently, which I effectively solved with some Tylenol.
Then the pain was more frequent & stronger, to which I added Orajel to the mix.
Now the pain is all day long constant. It has spread throughout my gumline. My jaw gets locked in place from the horrible pain. My face is radiating heat & pain. My neck hurts. My inner ear is hurting bad. I have a constant headache & my cheekbone (sinus?) hurts.
Now I have a decently high pain threshold & I am in an OBSCENE amount of pain.
Varieties of pain meds (Tylenol, Ibuprofen & Aleve) are having ZERO effect on the pain. Orajel is almost useless.
Going to the dentist is not an option right now. I have neither the financial abilities or insurance.
WHAT CAN I DO?? If I go to the emergency room, could/would they do anything?
Forgot to mention, I have not slept in 3 days because the pain is so severe & I have barely eaten because the pain is making me nauseous.

Went to dentist emergency as i was (still am) in a lot of pain not my regular one as i couldnt wait for the appointment so saw another one in the same practice, they took xrays and i told her i could feel something poking out of my gum at the back like a tooth, i had a tooth extracted out in the same area a month ago. She said it wasnt a tooth but my bone? gave it a name but i cant remember, she said that it hadnt healed proper (even thou its been a month?) and gave me metronidazole tablets to take, asked her about painkillers she said ibro/para said they dont work and yet i wasnt given any other painkilers 
Ive been awake most of the nite with this pain, taken too many painkillers ibro/para/co-codomol nothing is working only thing that relieves it for 2 mins is cold water but then im going to have to sit by the sink all day Anyone else had this and can advocate something? Ive done salt water also.
Pain is quite severe down the side of my face that the bone is protuding and also giving in earache also same side
Hope its not as according to the net the only thing to help with the pain is for the dentist to pack it with gauze? only thing she done is xrays and filled out a scrip, cant even say it coz she was in a rush coz i was called half hr early as someone hadnt turned up!
thanks for answering, still in extreme pain phoned dentist answer machine (weekend) and got told to ring nhs direct, done that they told me to phone dentist Been down hospital i dont like too but in so much pain told them im taking co-codomol, paracetemol, ibro etc they aint working they give me co-codomol 500 im already taking them!!! Got told i have to keep taking them to build up the strength (?) i havent been able to take my antibiotics in too much pain cant eat and i need to eat to take them Crying im in so much pain, worse thing is i went to the dentist n im still in pain what if they do nothing tmrw what then?
take 2 co-codomol to sit in pain for 4 hrs before i can take another 2, how is that pain relief!!??

How much pain does a tooth implant cause?
I’m getting a tooth implant soon, I have to have a screw put into my gums and i’m worried about how much pain it will cause.
People have said it’s a “quick procedure” (35 minutes) but even when I had a full Novocaine block for my last cavity it still hurt.
