Why are there no good dental insurance plans?
I can buy health coverage – but only “dental discount” plans that really do not help that much. I am not looking for plan names, etc… but the reason why it is hard to find good dental coverage.
As a side note, What do you think of Brandon Jacobs?

Ok Now I know what people are thinking. MY husband just started a new job so we are waiting on insurance. My wisdom teeth are driving me nuts. I am in the most pain I have ever been. I have 6 children and also took in husbands sister. I am broke I need help. My face is swollen and I have been taking antibiotics with no luck. I just need help finding a dentist. PLEASE someone out there help me. It is bad I think I have infection in the bone. I am throwing up blood. And I cant eat sleep and with 7 children I just need a darn DENTIST!!!!!! PLease anyone HELP ME!

i had both of my molars removed and im planning on getting implants (teeth implants) in a month
My dentist gave me a long list of instructions on what to do and what not to do but hes not very specific “eat soft foods and plenty of liquids are advisable”
i plan on having a crepe
i cant just call my dentist and say “can i eat a crepe” that would be rude seeing as hes always packed and busy.
would it be a good idea?

ok, here I go again, my insurance says : Type I dental expenses 100% no deductible
Type II 90% after deductible *only one deductible applies if Type II and Type II expenses are incurred, Type III 60 % after deductible. It says I have 1500 dlls max.
Now 10 points to whoever answers these questions: What the hell does this mean? I am new at this so please be gentle, what happens when the 1500 dlls are spent, what if I need more dental work and I do not have more insurance money?. Thanks.

Hello, I had a Top back tooth taken out on Boxing Day by an emergency dentist who couldnt wait to get rid of me.
When it was taken out it was still bleeding the next morning. I havent had any VERY-bad pain and when it does its usually over very quickly.
Although, when the tooth/hole hurts, everything around it hurts too(eye,ear,head).
There is still a big hole where it was taken out. There is a little piece of bone sticking out, and it kills when anything touches it.
I went to another emergency-dentist, and he cleaned it out and filled it with the clover-oil stuff, and it doesnt really hurt now. just occasionally
So my question is, tooth out Boxing Day – is it impossible to get a Dry Socket now?
I must’ve lost a load of weight since I got it out, I also reckon I am healthier 30 ciggies a day to just 3 yesterday
The hole is so big its really putting me off drinking/eating, even on the other side. Drinking is worse cause I know how much it will hurt if it touches the bone
The hole also doesnt look or feel any different to when it was when it was taken out either!

Will a clear retainer work as a tooth whitening tray?
I recently got my braces off, and I received a clear retainer to keep my teeth straight. Because of the braces, my teeth are also quite yellow, and I have been looking for a treatment. I read on the web the hydrogen peroxide and baking soda works well, but I want to use it in a tray. Would my retainer work? It’s costly and I need to make it last my lifetime, so I want to make sure it will not warp/discolor the tray.
