I have a tooth (top rear most molar) that has been hurting for 4 days. The tooth has a crown that has a small piece chipped off from flossing so maybe the seal around the tooth has been compromised. My former dentist in PA did not do a root canal on this tooth when he put the crown and there is very little swelling.

hi! my teeth had been yellow since i was a child. and my brother and mom’s teeth is yellow too. we do not smoke or drink coffee that might cause the stain and my mom did not take tetracycline while she was pregnant.i think it just runs in the family. what do you think is the ideal procedure or product for me? i am afraid of trying tooth whitening procedures at my dental’s office coz they say it might cause brittleness of the teeth. what is the most effective? tooth whitening procedures or tooth whitening products?

I need to see a dentist and do not get coverage through work. I have googled dental insurance, but dental plans keep coming up. What’s the difference? and can you advocate any specific insurance or plan? I live in the SF Bay Area.
