Doesnt hurt…I had almost 10 teeth pulled throughout my childhood! The dentist will numb your gums so all you really feel is some pressure.

A dental extraction SHOULD NOT injured if you are relaxed and have profound anesthesia. If you are nervous the adrenaline gets going and actually fights the anesthesia so its harder for you to get numb.

Implants–well, you will, again, be numbed. The screw goes into your bone. There are no nerves in your bone so no, it shouldn’t hurt.

Most patients that have them done, describe them as any other procedure. You are numbed, the procedure is done, you leave and maybe later you are a tiny bit sore.

See my avatar? That is my new smile, I have dental implants. I was awake for a 6 hour surgery. My teeth were pulled, implants put and my new teeth attached in one day. I had shots to numb me so I felt nothing during the procedure. I had all my teeth pulled and believe it or not double wisdom teeth pulled that day that were impacted. So yes I injured pretty good after my surgery but the pain meds really helped. Sure I injured after my teeth were pulled but having a dental implant did not make it worse.I know many whose tooth is already missing and they get dental implants and are never more than just sore. Because it is the removal of the tooths root that causes the pain.

you should purchase the whitening crest kit.. its at your local walmart, walgreens, ect. but go to wal mart i’m sure they have it….

Hi im a dental professional and i believe the crest white strips work well. They are however very hard to keep in place and some of my patients state that they swallow some of the bleach which is actually carbamide peroxide. It will give them like an acid reflux type feeling for a tiny while. I like the rembrant products that acutally have a tray that you can mold to your teeth. the bleach comes in a syringe and you only need a tiny bit. The tray holds the bleach in place so your not accidentally swallowing it. It is slightly +/- $ 10 Also, be sure to wipe away any bleach that ends up on your gums with a guaze or a tissue. Long time exposure to your gum tissue will burn. Good luck and I hope this helps

I’m really not sure if NO2 is used for implant procedures or if they just put you under completely.

I had wisdom teeth surgically cut out once and they gave me a valium and NO2, plus lots of local. After all that, the dentist could’ve come in with holding a hammer drill and reciprocating saw and I would not have cared at all.

After they shut off the NO2 flow, the effect wears off quickly.

get crest night whiteing pretty awesome i got white teeth and 2 weeks

dentist is like 75$ this is 20 for each bottle and you apply the clay to youre moutha nd remove it in the morning
dont believe me ask me for a photo i got bright whites

Teeth bleaching is great. however, if you have a lot of fillings in your front teeth, then do not do it. They look weird.

I bleached mine after my braces. I had the plastic trays which was my retainer. So when I went I did not have to pay for the trays to put the bleach in. That is what costs you. I did it a few years ago because the dentist had a special going on. You only do it for like two weeks.

But purchase some crest whiting and see if it helps. Otherwise try the crest white strips. I did not like them because they did not want to stay on my teeth.

If u use the white strips or if u go to a dentist, just do not overdo it. It can damage your teeth in the long run with too much exposure.

use tooth paste with whiter. um not to be rude but if your are like under 16 you prob shouldn’t be using any sort of whitener it makes your teeth really sensitive and really hard to eat or drink cold or hot.

Dental implants in my area, N. FL are about $ 2,000- 2,500 each. A maxillary (upper) implant takes about 6 mos of healing time before the crown is placed. A mandibular (lower) implant takes 3-4 months to heal; barring any complications or bone grafting in either case. Good choice and

The ideal implants are Branemark implants – made in Sweden and have the lowest failure rate.
A lot of cheap brands are now available and I bet they will not be around in 5-10 years when you need replacement bits.
Branemark has been around for as long as implants have(they were invented by him), and I would advise against using cheaper imitations, unless you do not plan on being around more than a few more years.
BTW I charge US$ 3500 each and I only use Branemark.
The newer “models” can now be completed in about 6 weeks depending on clinical conditions.

I do not know about branemark being the best. They certainly have been around the longest. It’s hard to determine with success rates in the high 90′s for experienced implantologists using all kinds of implant systems.

2-6 months depending on the quality and density of the bone recieving the implant. Costs vary from $ 1500 – $ 5000 in our area depending on which side of town you are on.

Try crest whitestrips or even a easy whitening toothpaste.
If you are using those and they have not worked, maybe its time you see your physician and figure out another (most likely costly) way of whitening your teeth.

Also–avoid coffee, smoking and coke/pepsi. These things stain your teeth.
