A few days ago I had a bad infection on my front tooth and needed it removed. I am now scheduled for a temporary dental implant on my due date, but my husband has to work. Is it okay for me to go by myself, or is it quite a traumatazing experience? Also, what is the recovery time like and what foods should I have waiting at home? Thanks.

I lost my two front teeth in a bicycle accident when I was 13 years old. Dentists tried to recreate them by using bonding agent but it was only temporary. I am 19 years old now and my front teeth have been exposed to corrosion over the years, making them look terrible. I refuse to smile and I cover my mouth when I laugh. I am thinking that since I am an adult and my mouth should stop growing, dental implants are a good idea. If I am to do this, what would the cost be and how swiftly can I smile again?

the tooth that supports my bridge is gone and i need a dental implant .was wondering what the down time is.
the location of the bridge and the tooth replacment is the upper right,I still have the tooth in place that holds my bridge but it has to be removed once the infection has cleared up and replaced with an implant that will hold my bridge.it sounds like about 6 months before the implant is healed.do i wear a temporary false tooth ? how does the bridge stay in once the bad tooth is extracted?

In the worst case scenario of both dentures and implants failing and being unable to chew due to tooth loss, what kind of foods could you eat to get enough calories to maintain your weight? I am having a tooth #13 pulled on Thursday in preperation for a dental implant. It cracked and I have decay near the root so the periodontist actually recommended an implant over RCT and a crown. I cannot figure out exactly how long this will take (other than “months”). How long between the extraction and the implant surgery? How long after the surgery do I get the crown? I am trying to get pregnant right now and I am a little worried about how that will affect the timeline on this.
