Dental implants?
I do not really know anything about them.I think on America’s next top model they had a girl that Tyra Banks got her teeth done because they were jagged and messed up. I wanted to know about how they actually do an implant.How much it cost and is there any way of the tooth falling out. I would only want to do one tooth(the tooth next to my left front tooth).

yes I have 1 tooth that I can’t stand that is straight with the others,just comes out a little bit but I do not want it to.all I know is the girl on ANTM was in the dental office for 12 hours one day and 6 the next so it was extensive I am sure. what’s the difference of implants and porcelain veneers? and how much do either of them cost. it’d only be for one tooth. thanks

I have two teeth in the roof of my mouth. I had surgery to pull them down four years ago, with the intent of moving them into their rightful place (not the teeth directly next to my front teeth, but the next ones over). Well, it’s been four years and it hasn’t worked, and I am really sick of having two teeth in the roof of my mouth and two giant gaps where teeth should be. Plus, the roof of my mouth really, really hurts- I can’t really eat hot/cold foods and it affects my capability to talk.
So my ortho suggested implants. My dentists disagrees- thinks we should do everything possible to save the teeth. I want implants. I have had braces for 8 years, and enough is enough!

So all I know is that they are screws that go into the bone. Does the procedure hurt? I heard they are extremely costly and I do not know if my family can afford that- is there any way to do it for less money? Do they look real? Are there generally problems after? Any info would be great!
Also do I just need to get the top teeth removed and then get the screws put in? I do not really know where (or who) to start with. I have a meeting with a surgeon to consult on taking out the teeth next week- but I am afraid I will get them removed only to find out (for whatever reason) that I can’t get implants. At this point I have very little faith in my luck dentally, and I have just found out that my ortho has basically been stalling because he has no clue what to do with me- therefore I do not really trust his opinion. It’s fine if he is at a loss, but he should have said something so we did not waste two years doing nothing. We want to switch (this is just one of the many mistakes he has made) but at this point I fear that switching orthos would only prolong the process.

I just need some reassurance. I am really fed up and sick of having a hideous mouth, and I feel like I have blindly trusted the “experts” and they let me down.

Also, has anyone heard of NobelGuide? Thoughts on it?

I just got lower dentures and they are terrible. The Dentist wants to put implants in. Does anyone have this situation and what do you think of it.
