Ok, recently I had serious tooth aches. Up until January. Since then, the pain is gone but now I find, with an inspection with my tongue, that in the rear of my mouth, one of my molars is 3/4 of the way gone, as if it’s rotten or something I dunno, and my gumline is disappearing around it. It is highly sensative and food often is stuck in this little hole, and I have to fish it out with my finger and it’s very painful. So, is this worth an costly trip to the dentist and classified as an emergency?

I’ve had a filling thats been giving me a lot of problems (aching, foul taste etc), I went to the dentist and he said I’d have to have Root Canal done..anyway, the filling fell out earlier, and I was wondering if I’d be liable to go to an emergency dentist to get it fixed up? Rather than wait 10 days till my dentist appointment. Any help/views would be appreciated!

my boyfriend has a severe tooth ache. the pain is so miserable that it hurts him to stand up, eat, or even sleep. he doesn’t have enough money to go to the dentist but the pain is horrible. i do not know what to do to help him and i need some help! please help me. is there something i can do or should i take him to the emergency room??? can the emergency room even pull teeth? or is a dentist the only answer? please help me!!!

I am in excruciating pain so i went to the dentist to get an emergency tooth pulled. They told me that they could give me an apointment in a couple of weeks. I told them thats crazy i cant sleep , so i went to the emergency room. The nurse told me they should have taken me right away. should i be upset or is this typical ?

Can you go to the Emergency room at a hospital for an Emergency dental issue? Or are there specific hospitals for tooth problems? I am having a severe tooth ache that NOTHING is helping it. I am 5 weeks pregnant and do not know what to do. The pain is to the unbearable point.

Okay this is an emergency: I have a terribly ache in my jaw where my wisdom tooth is coming in. What can I do?
to relieve the pain until I can get to the dentist tomorrow. It’s four in the morning and there is nothing I can do right now as far as the dentist is concerned but I cannot sleep because the pain is so bad. Icing my jaw only made the pain worse, I have taken Rx pain medication, and Orajel can’t reach my jaw bone. Please help me, I am so desperate for relief.

By coming in I mean that it’s coming in. It’s half way broken through the skin. The pain is not the tooth, it’s my jaw.
